Description

Tunnel is an electro-rock music duo from Montreal. The group was born after an impromptu and completely improvised show in the summer of 2013 between guitarist François Jalbert and drummer Kevin Warren. Their sound walks the line between experimental post/rock and pop/electro. Their influences for this project come from a variety of sources including Boards of Canada, Thom Yorke and Tycho among others. Known respectively for their work as bandleaders and sidemen in the Montreal music scene (The Franklin Electric, John Jacob Majistery), these two composers take a trip through cinematic instrumental landscapes, odd-time grooves and post-rock textures.
