Description

Isis Giraldo loves composing music that tries to reach new harmonic and melodic textures. She is interested in how we can play with harmony to fool the ear, and go against the preductable resolution. She explores these ideas by composing for a number of ensembles with varying intrumentations. She has played in festivals both nationally and internationally, and has shared the stage with Thom Gill, Felicity Williams, Emma Frank, and many other up and coming Canadian artists.
