Description
With his debut EP, Malachi Vale delivers a collection of five dreamy tunes, matured over a long period on the dark side of the sun. An eclectic blend of blues, country -folk, Americana and jazz, superimposed on Marc Gagnon’s nostalgic deep vocals. A voice that is reminiscent of Tom Waits or Leonard Cohen, but with a unique flow that explores the musical aspect of the lyrics.
Malachi Vale joined force with Montreal producers Guy Kaye (Youssou N’Dour, Jean Leloup), Erik West-Millette (West Trainz, Marie-Jo Thério) and Jean Massicotte (Adam Cohen, Patrick Watson, Alejandra Ribera).
