Ethiopian-born, raised in Canada, rapper Naya Ali made a strong debut in 2018 with her EP Higher Self. Known for her unique flow and raspy delivery, she quickly captured attention. Now, with her second album We Did The Damn Thing, Ali embraces new creative dimensions, blending wisdom, gratitude, and perseverance, while celebrating her experiences as an immigrant and Black woman.

After early success with her Godspeed albums (2020 and 2021), Ali is breaking free from expectations to fully embrace her artistic and personal evolution. Immigrating to Canada, she left a career in marketing to pursue music—a decision that changed her life. Ready to explore new horizons, she is now fully open to whatever comes next.
